We have an opportunity for apermanent full-time accountant role for a property development start-upbusiness based in Brisbane CBD.
This is a newly created role,so you have an opportunity to join an exciting brand-new company to help growthe business and gain multi experiences.
Position Summary and key responsibilities:

  • Coordination with the     project team on the costing of the project, e.g., invoices checking, sales     advice checking and cost report reconciliation.
  • Analytical     work on the project budget and project cash flow.
  • Assist the Finance team     with preparation, reconciliation, and lodgement of monthly and quarterly     BAS.
  • Assist the Finance team in     preparing yearly financial statements and reports for internal and     external use.
  • Assist Finance team in     budget preparation, prepare cashflow reporting and analysis on the     variance.
  • Assist the Finance team in     analysing financial and accounting feasibility studies for potential     investments in new and existing projects if required.
  • Assist the Finance team     in budget preparation and preparation of financial and management accounts     for multiple entities.
  • Monitor and reconcile     group company bank accounts if required.
  • Assist with Finance team     with the Trust account and daily reconciliation.
  • Invoicing, account     payables, account receivables, and relevant staff expenses reimbursements.
  • Assist the Finance team     in staff payroll preparation, payroll and superannuation payment if     required.
  • Accounting and finance     data entry and recording, intercompany charges, and journals.
  • Assist the Finance team     in documentation, filing and administrative work.
  • Maintain asset register.     
  • Liaising with     stakeholders on the progress of the project if required.
  • Ad-hoc tasks must be     attended to if required.
  • Assist the Finance team     in coordination with relevant departments to complete the Accounts     documentation.
  • Ensure the task is     performed on time when instructed by the Managers and Finance Director.
Required experience: At least3 years of accounting experience in the Real Estate industry.
