An expanding education provider is looking for an experienced full-time admin officer. The position is located at Brisbane and starts from June/July. It is within a cohesive team who coordinate the reception/administrative/academic support duties for the RTO. The Administrative Officer will assist the RTO'sreception desk, the administration team, as well as providing support to the RTO'sacademic staff and undertaking general office duties.

DUTY STATEMENT·Respond to general enquiries regarding courses, student services, and RTO activities; ·Respond to and redirect as necessary any specific enquiries regarding issues related to the RTO; Keep student records manually, in a student record system and in Google Drive; ·Assess enrolment applications; ·Issue offers letter for students; ·Issue Confirmation of Enrolments; ·Undertake printing orders for coursework and administrative material; ·Use Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PDF etc. in the production of RTO and course materials; ·Communicate professionally with students, agents and other related personnel regarding students’ payments, attendance, current contact details and enrolment status; ·Collect course payments; ·Send bulk emails on behalf of the RTO; ·Order stationery supplies for staff; ·Provide secretarial support to RTO’s staff as required; ·Train part-time/casual staff assisting at reception; ·Provide general administrative support as directed by theAdministration Manager; and ·Undertake and participate in other activities/projects/duties as directed.
Organisational Relationships·The position reports to the Administration Manager. Other·The successful candidate will receive one-week training in the theBrisbane campus.
SELECTION CRITERIA
- Has right to work full-time in Australia
- A combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Experience in customer services and/or working in a busy reception area.
- Knowledge of education provider policies and procedures OR an ability to rapidly acquire such knowledge;
- Skills in the use of computer packages for spreadsheets, word-processing, e-mail, data storage and retrieval, webpage and other administrative activities;
- Fluent in Chinese;
- Excellent phone and email etiquette;
- Flexibility and reliability;
- Ability to remain calm during peak times; and
- Time management skills.
