  Chinese - Cantonese. Sunny Park. 07-3323 3919. Ask for VIP card # 107. I personally prefer 荣记， Little Hong Kong, etc., since you get a better deal.
• Little Singapore 星马餐厅
  Singapore. Open 7 days 11:30am - 10:30pm. Try to avoid rush hours. Market Square, Sunnybank. 3345 5575.
• Pho Hien Vuong (兴记)
  Vietnamese. To Asians, Vietnamese is beef and/or chicken noodles. Good value. (But may use MSG; some complain stomach problems) 07 3219 5688

  Thai. Quality Thai food yet not too expensive. Pinelands Plaza, Cnr Beenleigh & Pinelands Rd, Sunnybank, 3216 9099. Anyone wants to compare it with PhayaoThai?
• PhayaoThai
  Thai. Palmdale Shopping Centre. 2120 Logan Rd. (07) 3420 4186. Lunch 11-3. Dinner 5-9. Closed on Sundays. Buy 4 get 1 free. This seems to provide competition to local Thai restaurants.
• Sunny Court 重庆酒家（原翠亨村川菜酒家）
  Chinese - Sichuan. Reasonably authentic but somewhat expensive. Cnr. Leadenhall St. and Mains Rd., MacGregor, 3343 2292. Some bad comments in http://www.oursteps.com.au/bbs/viewthread.php?tid=124638.
• Chives 泰粤轩
  Chinese-Thai. This one is intriguing. First, you do not see many Chinese-Thai restaurants since the cooking styles are somewhat different. Second, it is online: http://www.chivesrestaurant.com.au/ Its price is slightly high. But considering its very nice contemporary setting, one may give it a try.

Western

• Calamvale Hotel
  Australian. $6.90 roast lunch (Beef, Lamb, or Pork, with a drink reduced to $5.90) is quite alright. You can get free tea, cold walter, coffee, even hot chocolate from the game room.
• The Salt and Battery
  Fish and Chips. Hawken village next to the 412 bus terminal. Not sure how it compares with Greek eataries in Westfield shopping centers.
• La Porckette
  Better quality Italian food than Domino's or Pizza Hut. Check there web sites for locations.
• Nando
  Poutugese. Mainly chicken.
• Red Roost
  Aussie Brand, compete against KFC and Nando's.

Steakhouse

• Probably David's 食字路口，317 Mains Road, Market Square, Sunnybank (小台北楼上） because it is cheaper. Alternative is Sizzler, its web site http://www.sizzler.com.au/content/locations-qld.asp. Sizzler in Australia might be more expensive than its US counterpart. The best is perhaps cook it yourself since it is relatively easy, e.g. 牛排的作法

• Tobaki Korean

• (There are many other Korean BBQ restaurants in Brisbane. Sunnybank Plaza 大长金, another one just a few steps from 大长金. Pinelands Plaza has one.)
