We are a modern family in our late 30’s, living 10 min’s from Noosa www.tourismnoosa.com.au in Queensland (1.1/2 hours North of Brisbane), with a lovely natured 2 year old baby girl Stella...and our baby Piper 1 year old.  OH’ and a sweet Burmese cat too!

We need a special lovely girl who can speak English and (Pu-tong-hua) Mandarin. It will be a fun and enjoyable experience for learning for the both of us.
YOU MUST ONLY SPEAK Mandarin to our baby girls.  We want our babies to be bilingual.

Would you like to be part of our family?
Do you have a lot of common sense?
Have you had some experience with children before?
You should be terrific with children and also enthusiastic in what you do.
You must be organized and be able to think for yourself.

You have access to a Broadband Internet & Television.
The ideal situation would be, if you had some sort of on line interest, which will keep you in touch with the outside world of an evening as WE DO NOT LIVE NEAR SHOPS OR IN A TOWNSHIP.
We live 5 mins from the Eumundi Market and 10 mins from Noosa.  Every week we go to Noosa to visit the shops.

This is an Au Pairs job!
This basically means you work in exchange for rent and food, PLUS we pay you
pocket money.  The salary is $150.00 per week.  This figure is including 4 hours of housework per week.  
You can basically SAVE all of this money as you don't have any bills to pay.

We live near the bus stop which takes you right into the heart of Noosa's famous Hastings Street, where you can Shop, go to the Beach, Cinema, Local Backpackers or do what ever you like on your time off. You will need to have a mobile phone to call my husband who will need to come and pick you up from the bus stop, 2 min's drive away.

Our babies are just 14 months apart so it gets pretty hectic at times. My husband works from home so he is around to give plenty of help when needed. There is always something to do when you have two babies so close in age.  We all do everything, washing, cooking, cleaning and looking after our children together.  Stella is also now attending daycare for 2 days per week so it gives my husband and I a good opportunity to get some business done on these days.  Piper is about to also start daycare 2 days soon.


During the day, you can choose to spend time with me out visiting friends, shopping or visiting my sisters who live locally. One lives right on the beach so you can go for a swim in the ocean when I am there. I can even drop you off at the shopping centre or in town if you wish.

You will be welcomed into our small family. You will be required to travel with us if we go away. We have had 6 Au Pairs who all have lived in our home for approximately 3 months each.  I speak to them all nearly every week as we become  very close to each other.  I would like to think that we are nice, kind, young people and that we are very approachable. If you have any concerns with anything, I would hope that you would come and talk openly with us. I think by us being in good communication, will only nourish our time together. We just want you to be happy living with us. That is our main concern.  Or else this type of arrangement would not work.

It is very tiring looking after children so you must be prepared to work hard, we all do and the rewards are the love you receive from our girls which makes it an enjoyable job.

I hope that you love our children and can help them in their development.  You must be prepared to speak to the girls in Mandarin only as it is a crucial time for them to learn a second language.
