他们的故事:
这是一个创作才华形的组合，由女主唱Suzanne Mosson和男团员Patrick Tucker组成。Suzanne嗓音甜美神似Texas的女主唱Sharleen Spiteri，她大多是主唱/合音(因为她在15岁开始学玩吉它，但常常无法边唱边弹，所以决定主攻唱歌)以及创作。而Patrick则负责创作, 乐器以及制作方面。Patrick小时候由于母亲的关系，听了很多The Beatles到Bob Dylan的歌。他在卡尔斯塔德(Karlstad)的音乐学院修的是古典吉他。Patrick后来加入了Murlyn Music词曲创作协会，在发表自己作品前，Patrick也写了多首热门歌曲如98度的《Because Of You》 和罗南的《Only For You》。在此同时，Suzanne写了一首歌，后来收进Standfast的专辑里，这首歌叫做“Shine On”，作词者是曾与Suzanne短暂合作过的搭档Matte Hedstrom。
他们在97年相遇了... StandFast成军的过程非常有趣：Suzanne与Patrick在斯德哥尔摩相识，彼此认为可以组成搭档试试运气。“我们在某个地下室租了一间完全密闭的练团室。那个地下充满了年轻的音乐创作人，日夜不停地在写歌，录试听带。”他们欣赏The Beatles、Everthing But the Girl、Pink Floyd、Coldplay以及Erykah Bad等艺人。Suzanne说“我们最爱的一张CD，就是The Beatles的Sgt Repper's Lonely hearts Club Band”对于写歌与六〇年代的旋律有着共同的热情，让Suzanne与Patrick凑在一起。这两个人相处的模式十分自然，融洽。就像他们的音乐一样，飘荡着北欧特有的浪漫气息、一种冷凝、致腻的银白色浪漫。
