Mount Gravatt Medical Centre & Skin Cancer Clinic (MGMC) now has a vacancy for registered nurse to cover at least Three Shifts a week. Working hour would be from 9am to 5pm weekdays. MGMC is modern medical centre with only one GP. Great location, it's on Logan road not so far from Westfield Garden City, so it's easy to get to the clinic. Duties will include:- General Treatment Room duties and responsibilities
- Assisting GP's with minor surgical procedures (Skin biopsy, skin surgery)
- Health checks (Health Assessments)
- Care plans
- Immunisations (including children)
- ECGs
- Spirometry
- Wound care
Selection Criteria: - Current Australian Nursing Registration
- Previous and recent General Practice experience (preferrable but not essential. Full training provided)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a busy environment
- Proficient computer skills
